How does HealthPass keep my health data private?+
HealthPass has no account to create and no server of ours to sign in to. Your records live on your iPhone, behind Face ID. If you turn on sync, it travels only between your own devices through your private iCloud, end-to-end encrypted. Your information is never sold, and never shared without you.
How do I get started?+
Download HealthPass from the App Store and open it — setup is guided. Add your Medical ID details, or import your existing records from Apple Health and SMART Health Card codes.
How does the Health Code work, and is it safe to show?+
The Health Code is a self-contained QR that packs your emergency essentials directly into the image. A provider scans it with any camera and reads what matters — no app on their end, no account, and no network call. You choose when to show it.
How do I bring in my existing records?+
Connect Apple Health to import your clinical records, and scan provider-issued SMART Health Card (shc:) QR codes. HealthPass maps and de-duplicates everything on your device.
Can I reach my info in an emergency?+
Yes. Your critical info and Health Code are available from the Lock Screen without unlocking, and you can summon them with Siri, the Action Button, or Control Center.
How do I add my cards to Apple Wallet?+
Your Medical ID and insurance cards can be added to Apple Wallet, signed entirely on your iPhone.
How do I delete or export my data?+
You can edit or remove anything in the app at any time. For a full export or to permanently delete everything, email support@forerunner.ai from your contact email and we’ll take care of it.
Something isn't working — how do I report a bug?+
First try closing and reopening the app, or restarting your iPhone. If it persists, email support@forerunner.ai with your device model, iOS version, and what happened (screenshots help).
